Dine Without Restrictions

Explore dining options designed for safety and satisfaction, offering allergen-friendly spaces that cater to your needs.

  • Stress Less Zone

The Stress Less Zone provides a dedicated space for guests seeking gluten-friendly and allergy-friendly options. This station is designed to support those with dietary restrictions by offering foods that help minimize exposure to common allergens, while creating a more comfortable and inclusive dining experience. This area reduces cross contact with gluten, peanuts, and tree nuts, and includes dedicated equipment only for use in this area including a cooler, toaster oven, waffle maker, and microwave. Zones are located in Blackhawk Commons and Reeve Union.

  • Eat to Excel - Training Type and Meal Component

Eat to Excel uses sport-specific guidelines from dietetics professionals to customize nutrition guidance for student-athletes. Our program categorizes food from our menus into proteins, carbohydrates, or colors (for fruits and vegetables) to teach students how to build their plates to meet the needs of Easy, Moderate, and Hard training. The recommended portion of each on the student's plate varies depending on whether they are training, resting, or preparing for a competitive event.

CARBS: Carbohydrates are the primary fuel source for our bodies. They help with muscle contraction, maintaining energy levels, and fueling our brain and muscles throughout the day.

PROTEIN: Consuming adequate amounts of protein ensures we are replenishing the availability of this nutrient. Protein supports metabolism, immune function, movement, and athletic performance.

COLORS: Also known as fruits & vegetables offer a variety of vitamins and minerals for many body functions, growth, and maintenance of these systems.

  • Halal Options

Titan Hospitality diligently works to provide for the diverse religious dietary needs of students. To request a religious dietary accommodation, please email diningdietitian@uwosh.edu. We strongly encourage students with religious dietary needs to plan ahead and notify us in advance so we can coordinate any necessary accommodations.
